Memories of Summer is a portrait with poppies and daisies curving around in a wreath and worn in the hair.

With memories of summer flowers I created this art noveau inspired painting with washes of watercolour. There are areas of loose watercolour washes next to sensitively applied shading on the face and areas of more heavily applied watercolour. Everything is held together with a web of intricate ink linework.

With two deckled edges on the sides it is painted in 650gsm cotton rag paper so would be ideal for float framing. 0i
