The tiny worlds that exist around us and even within us, as seen through a microscope have inspired me to make this small sculptural form.

Multiple firings have allowed me to create the depth of colour and pattern on the surface of the form, as each application of lustre requires a separate firing.

This is an original ceramic sculpture, high fired with stoneware glazes, and multiple fired metallic lustres.
