This work has evolved by memories of the delicate nature of cherry blossom and thoughts of one day returning to Japan. The work of masters such as Cy Twombly, Turner and Tapies, have also influenced this piece – as I bring all that I love about their work and add my touch, though the striking palette of warm tones and distinctive mark making. I hope you enjoy it.
