Petals of pink moonflowers are making my midnight garden gorgeous.. not really but in my imagination. I don’t know if we can grow moon flowers or any night blooming flowers in Australia, something for me to find out…
I’ve grown night blooming flowers in India with my father when I was little. Creating this painting was all about the excitement and wait that I’ve experienced just to see the blooming flowers. There used to be dew drops, night sky and light of full moon with the fragrance of night flowers spreading in the air, it took me on a trip.
Colors used are -Midnight blue, titanium white and magenta.
Varnished for luster and protection.
