This piece is inspired by Darwin’s monsoon season, depicting a heavy, moody expression rich in tones of blue and green with flashes of gold. It flows across the canvas and reflects not only the Monsoon, but the experience of living it, the overbearing build up and the sweet deluge when it finally rains.
