I often walk along Pippi Beach at Yamba and enjoy paddling in the waves along the shore, and this painting is inspired by one of those walks. I started painting it as a self portrait but the figure gradually changed into someone different! I think she is a kindred spirit though as she loves a quiet walk, the sound of the sea and the breeze and a little time alone! The painting is framed and ready to hang. The frame measures 34 x 44 cm.
