This work is reminiscent of a bygone era, when we stayed in the sun all day lathering our bodies with baby oil. It reminds us of a time when the car would be overloaded with kids and legs would stick to the vinyl seats because of the heat. This is part of body of work that takes a contemporary took on an innocent and carefree time and place in Australia.

The silver in this painting makes the piece have a different feel throughout the day as it simmers in the changing sunlight. The bathers are an original vintage piece that I have in my collection that I drew upon for inspiration.
