Moreton Bay Sailing by Anne Strambi

This original oil painting was inspired by sailing afternoons on Moreton Bay near Brisbane. I used to go sailing regularly and sometimes take part in a friendly sailing race, though I never became very skilled in the art of sailing. I did however find it very inspiring for my art practice! There is something about boats that makes me think of freedom, being part of nature and getting away from the hectic pressures of normal life. This painting is ready to hang with a cord on the back but you could also frame it if you prefer.
