Having been raised primarily by my mother, I have the greatest of respect for the matriarchs in our family.

Inspired by both Thackeray’s quote, and one of my daughter’s paintings, Mother is the Name for God, is homage to both my wife Emily, and mother Andrea, connecting 3 generations of our family within the one work; simultaneously bringing the past, present and future together.
