The mountain ash gum tree or eucalyptus regnans is the tallest flowering tree in the world and is found in the deep forests of Tasmania and into The greater Melbourne region including Healseville and Daylesfod. This iconic eucalyptus tree evokes memories of travel and time spent with family and friends for Jacky.

Created with a muted palette that is inspired by the Australian landscape, ‘Mountain Ash Moment I’ builds a sense of calm within a space through its flowing bushscape composition. ‘Mountain Ash Moment I’ creates a sense of continuity when hung with other works from the Southern Melody collection including its sister piece ‘Mountain Ash Song I’.
