Mushroom Magic by Rosemary Legat – Spray paint, acrylic paint, acrylic ink, water colour & collage

One of my intuitively layered bases, using a limited colour palette, in spray paint & acrylic ink, and my imagination became the catalyst of creating this surreal piece.

Layers of painting and markings over my original base, along with creating the snail and mushroom details turned my abstract base into this textured and whimsical creation.  Just a little iridescent medium to enhance the unique luminous glow.

I love the fantasy feel and look……I hope you do too.

This creation is very organic therefore I have taken the main paint colours around the canvas edges but I am happy to paint over the edges in a specific colour, eg black, at the request of a art collector.

Mushroom Magic does not require framing however my art gallery includes an example of how he could look box framed.
