Not to be the victim as has been written, but from a modern-day cry for choice, reproductive rights and consensual relationships. The original myth typified cruel behaviour concealed beneath a beautiful swanlike appearance, beauty being the facade. I have subverted the classical narrative-Leda is no longer the submissive character and Zeus (the swan) no longer has power over her.
