Books can teach us so much, My daughter had to read ‘Crow Country’ for school and it talked about places that her father grew up in as a child. I find books to be a wonderful place to escape and learn from. Part of the background is collaged in a beautiful vintage map. The painting is done in a modern contemporary style but still draws from traditional still life paintings for inspiration. This painting is framed in Australian Oak.
