Mystic Dream by Rosemary Legat – I participated in a 5 day art workshop early 2023 with proceeds going to the Ukraine Red Cross.  The pieces I created as the result of this workshop were influenced greatly by the collage pieces I used.

In Mystic Dream the collage pieces I created were from origami paper.  The collage pieces, along with my drawn details, were interwoven over my intuitive created base layers, then within the subsequent layers, which resulted in a surreal, intriguing piece thick with texture and depth.

I find my Mystic Dream to be a little rustic and organic with slightly feminine touches.  I hope you like the mix as much as I do.

With my paintings on paper I often leave a organic white border but in this case I took my painting right to the paper edges.

As Mystic Dream requires framing to hang my artwork gallery includes examples of how she could look framed and hung.
