Designed to capture true love, this linedrawing style painting depicts the two hearts that beat as one. When you love someone you truly do share in their emotions, almost as if you both share the same heart.

Story / Inspiration:

In this series I aim to capture Lovers and their affinity and oneness with nature. The message being portrayed by the free flowing lines is one of harmony with oneself, each other and nature.

I have endeavoured to achieve these characteristics by using acrylic in a oneline flowing style and border with the colour turquoise. The Banksia plant surrounds the couple and is depicted in an orange, yellow ocre and again turquoise, with white used to accentuate the leaves into a mosaic style form. This achieves a more subtle bacground where the overall effect can be enjoyed and the focal point becomes the entire piece, rather than only one aspect.

A great statement piece, especially with the white frame provided which compliments the colours perfectly. The work is a medium size portrait which would be at home in a variety of interior designs and colours including darker walls.
