Nature’s Order by Julia Chuquis – This piece is inspired by the incredible energy that drives the change in nature, from the release of seeds from their pods to the sprouting of new growth. In these moments in nature I find my comfort, especially in times of change where the outcome is unknown. Nature reminds us to trust life’s process, endure the ugly bits until we arrive to something beautiful.

This artwork is textured and layered in oil paint on top of washes in acrylic, using brush and spatula to represents the diversity of each season. Oil pastels and charcoal were used for line markings to embody the beginning of a new cycle. It is an original artwork, painted on a quality stretched canvas and arrives ready to hang. The painting is varnished in an archival gloss.
