Additional Information

This artwork was produced with alcohol ink on pure transparent linen canvas. The neutral tone of the canvas creates a subtle harmony with the mix of cool blue and green hues. The addition of an earthy sangria and copper adds contrast and interest in the work as well as contributing to the subtle sense of movement. I particularly enjoy the way alcohol ink spreads and layers when applied to a surface. While producing this work, I manipulated the ink through blowing air over it through a straw. The result is an aesthetically pleasing artwork that would suit any contemporary space.
