Neon Dreamscape: by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

Abstract Graffiti painting created on recycled wallpaper on canvas.

This artwork continues my experimentation using spray paint, brush work and liquid acrylics to explore memories and the edges of perception.

Making abstract art, I use many different techniques to apply the paint Sponges, rags, plastic, scrapers, paint pens, spray packs, stencils, pencils, and fingers.

The artwork is a Abstract Statement piece and will give maximum impact to any room.

My art is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces & is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

Insitu examples are not to scale.

The work comes on vintage wallpaper glued down onto stretched canvas to create a textured surface, then overlaid with paint. The artwork is painted black around the edges and is ready to hang.
