Night Flight to Acapulco by Brendan Walsh (ColdGhost)

Abstract Urban Painting

This original Mixed Media Abstract Artwork was created first by adding texture to the surface using layers of recycled paper and paint.

Then the work was then further layered with paint to build up the Abstract background effect.

This artwork continues my experimentation with using different techniques to apply the paint Sponges, rags, plastic, scrapers, paint pens, spray packs, stencils, pencils, in fact anything except brushes.

The artwork is a Abstract Statement piece and will give maximum impact to any room.

My art is directly influenced by Graffiti in City Laneways, Vintage Billboards and other weathered surfaces & is also inspired by my love of gestural abstraction and my obsession with using spray paint.

Insitu examples are not to scale.

The work comes on a quality canvas and is painted black around the edges and is ready to hang.
