Nodal Transference by Estelle Asmodelle – This artwork is an emotional piece that explores the idea of transferring information across from one node to the other, from one side to the other. Here the concept of ‘action painting’ has been stripped down, to provide a clear idea of the premise in its simplest form, free from the complexities of how ‘action painting’ usually appears. Painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

This work is painted on professional-grade canvas stretched and has been sealed with varnish. The canvas has dimensions is 315 cm in width by 210 cm in height. The painting will wrap around the sides as well so there is no need for a frame as the painting is 20 cms wider and higher than these dimensions to provide the colour wrap.

This canvas is too big to ship mounted on a stretcher; not only is it logistically challenging to ship the work, but it has a higher chance of getting damaged. So what I am offering here is for the person who buys the work, it is shipped rolled up in a tube together with the stretcher, and when it arrives, a framer will book a time with the buyer to come to your home or office and mount and hang the work for you. So essentially, it is like you are buying the work ready to hang, but the mounting and hanging stage occurs after the work is delivered. The framer’s fee is included in the cost of the artwork; there are no additional costs.
