Additional Information

Not So Secret Surf Beach by Claire Skeet –  is an original work created using a combination of mark making techniques. I mostly use palette knives and large brushes. Lots of  scraping and scratching also create texture and movement.  Created using on canvas colour blending  to create a really unique and interesting piece.

For this entire series of works, I have been painting on a metallic gold underpainting allowing the scratches and scrapes to have a beautiful luminosity.

Yallingup and the whole of WA’s South West continue to call me, I find never ending inspiration from the rugged coast line and the extremes in the weather. I love the windswept trees along this coast and you will find they feature heavily in my current works.

Framed in a medium Oak coloured floating frame, this piece is  ready to hang in its forever home.

Painted and varnished with the best possible quality products for longevity.
