How do we, as parents, cope when our children eventually move out of home? Our job as parents is done and we can only hope that we have instilled in them strong character traits such as resilience , empathy, integrity and resourcefulness. A dear friend, whose son is moving interstate said to me “my head is saying that this is the right path for my son, but my heart is saying something different”. ‘Oceans away” is dedicated to all the parents facing this life changing event.
