‘Oh look how you’ve grown’ is a piece that speaks of growth, courage, and moving on.

If you look closely you will see an abstract expression of a flower, reaching up to the sky, searching for the light so it can bloom fully. I think flowers are sort of like us in a way, we need love and light to bloom and grow.

The pieces of gold leaf I use in my artwork represent a beacon of hope and light shining through, to me as the artist, and to the viewers. Art and painting has been a saving grace for me. It’s truly helped me to grow and move past many difficult experiences and challenges. For that I am forever grateful and I hope that my artworks bring a feeling of hope to anyone who needs it.
