If this old kettle could speak! No doubt it has sat atop many a fire as people warm their hands while camping in the Australian bush. An old medicine bottle and rock complete the picture that recalls the early days of Australian settlers when they were challenged by the harsh environments of the outback. Painted from life, the work has been framed with recycled jarrah, a warm reddish timber that has been used in buildings, furniture and is great for campfires also.

This is a small work that would be perfect to complement an engaging grouping of objects on a sideboard for example.
