Olives and Sunshine by Helen Stephens

Another lovely addition to my Pink Sky Series……I have been painting them over the last six months or so. Inspired by those back paddocks and  long vistas over farmlands to the fluffy pink tinged clouds beyond. Nestled into the foothills of the Scenic Rim are farms and businesses producing some amazing produce including olives and camel cheeses. Just outside of Brisbane, the Scenic Rim has always been a “go to” place for a Sunday drive, even from childhood…..the confines of the city are left far behind and the mountain ranges unfold in the distance.

Non traditional, original acrylic painting in my very own style to capture that wonderful colour of late afternoon drives.

Professional quality acrylics, mediums and varnishes on Professional grade stretched canvas.
