Influence:

One activity I loved as a child down by the Beach was to explore on the salty rocks. Well, let’s be honest, I still do. So many treasures were discovered in and around the smooth salty rocks which engulfed the shores of our local beach. I’d spend, what seemed hours carefully exploring each little water pool as if I was a Marine Biologist on a massive expedition searching for new habitants of the Sea.

Using the colours of the ocean, the sea foam, salty wet sand and rock shapes, this is my interpretation of my many wonderful adventures down on the Salty Rocks. This piece of art has loads of texture mimicking the flowing water on the rocks and the wet sand giving extra visual stimulation and movement.

Specifications:

Quality acrylics used giving long lasting rich pigmentation/lustre. Designed on acid free environmentally unbleached cotton duck, triple coated with universal primer, heavy duty stretcher bars were used to reduce warping. Protective Matte Varnish applied. Signed by the artist and ready to hang.
