Layers of paint are built up to create this nostalgic painting rich in colour.

Each brushstroke is a study of the object (a packet of beetles) that were displayed in my studio for weeks as part of my “Be Treatwise. Enjoy A Balanced Diet” collection.

The idea behind the collection was to indulge, in colour, in shape, in patterns and in sweet treats by creating a playful body of work at a larger scale.

A giggle at the ‘tiny’ warning labels on our packets of treats.

With it’s playful brushstrokes this bag is a joyous addition to any space.

The painting continues to the sides of the canvas and is fitted with quality D-Rings meaning this painting is ready to hang.
