Additional Information

This original artwork by Marijke Lambregtse has been inspired by the recent state of isolation we are placed in by no free will. My work has been for quite a while now about a feeling of being isolated more and more although we are together at the same time.
We might find we have to start moving more inward, to the vast inner space of our thoughts and imagination, a place we have perhaps neglected for a long time.
Art can help us doing this it also can connect us to a world where anything is possible. A world out of our grasp for now. We need more time to listen to the sounds of life and maybe ponder about the world that was, watching it sink more into the shadows and background.
