“This would have to be one of my very favourite paintings. I loved creating the lacework in her dress and every strand of hair painted was simply meditational. I wanted to create a piece that would compliment any interior.”

“Owl” is an airbrushed painting created over many days and hours – each strand of hair, piece of lace and feather were painted separately. Each layer is a labour of love and the colour and technique of airbrushing give this art piece an ethereal quality. The owl symbolises wisdom, intuition, independent thinking and power – her spirit protector taking her to the next chapter in her story.

“Owl” was part of an Exhibition held at Pine Rivers Library Redcliffe called “Two Worlds Converging”.
