Parfaite Plisse – Limited Edition Print of 50 by Wendy Peters

Parfait Plisse  – Perfect Pleats that is what poppies always remind me of, and that beautiful fabric originally brought to the world in 1988 by the famous fashion designer Issey Miyake (and much copied since). When living in the UK I used to window shop his store in Conduit Street, London and lust after the designs which were way out of my price bracket, I was intrigued by the architectural affect in the designs.  So in this case my love of botanicals and fashion are a combined inspiration for this painting.  The light source bouncing off the flowers highlights the fragility of the petals.  Working in close focus gives the painting a contemporary look that would work well in a modern or classic setting.

Printed with archival inks on gallery canvas.

Selected either: on rolled canvas (shipped in a tube and requires stretching to hang) or

Stretched canvas, ready to hang.

Dimensions for both are 91 x 91cm.

Signed – numbered with a certification of authenticity.

Printed on demand, please allow 10-14 days for shipping.
