Passing the Golden Canola Fields by Robbi Neal

Artist Statement: Between Adelaide and Ballarat are fields of canola that shine yellow as though the sun has settled on them.

This work is an original once off artwork that will not be available for reproduction printing. I do not do reproduction prints as they have no value, don’t increase in value as a painting does and devalue the original work.

This painting is acrylic and pastel on 36 X 72 cm on Luca Premium Professional Canvas, stretched onto a kiln dried frame, wired ready to hang, signed on the front and sent with an artist cv and certificate of authenticity.

The work is sealed with several coats of fixative and several coats of a Conservationist Varnish. The conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust , if you need to, which will preserve its life. Conservationist quality varnish is essential as it doesn’t yellow or crack with age and light.

This work is sent stretched ready to hang but without an exterior frame (frames in images are to give you an idea of the work in different frames). The painting continues on the sides so you can hang it without an exterior frame and there will be no ugly white sides. With adding exterior framing it is better to match you home rather than the painting. ie if you have a lot of timber use a timber frame, a lot of white use a white frame etc as I have done in the images.

Please make sure to measure your space for the painting. I have tried to be accurate in the images but they are not a true guide to the size.
