ARTIST STATEMENT
Living by Berowra Valley National Park, I see these cockatoos daily on my morning walks and often from my studio window. Their raucous calls seem to proclaim, ‘Here I am’ and their cheeky personalities appear larger than life. I chose to paint a coloured background to capture the vitality of these energetic parrots.
