Peace Like White Flowers by Robbi Neal

Artist Statement: My studio is in the back yard which sometimes has white flowers on the vegetables or they just grow and I don’t know how they got there but I’ve always loved white flowers, they are like tiny peace growing in the garden.

This works is oil and acrylic on 100 X 75cm Fine Belgian Linen, signed on the front and sent with an artist CV and certificate of authenticity.

This work is sealed with a conservationist Gloss Varnish. The conservationist quality varnish means that you can wipe the painting free of dust if you need to which will also preserve its life. Conservationist quality varnish also won’t yellow or crack with age. Linen provides a beautiful finish for the paint and is long lasting so gives the painting posterity for many hundreds of years .

The work is painted on the sides so if hung stretched without an exterior frame it will still look lovely from any angle (no ugly white sides). I have tried to give a few examples of different frames.

The work is sent Unstretched (this is taken into account in the price) in a roll ready for stretching and or framing. It is much safer for work to travel in a roll and then be delivered to you by the framer. Framers charges vary greatly . I use mobile framing.

If you decide to add an exterior frame I suggest choosing a frame that matches your furniture. ie if you have natural timber choose a timber frame, if you have a lot of black trim choose a black frame. But I would never normally recommend a black or white frame if you don’t have a lot of black in your home – normally a soft timber is going to look better.

All work over 100cm is sent via Pack and Send and under 100cm is sent via Australia Post Express
