This is a new theme, or style for me that started with playing around with wet oil colours. The beauty of oil paint is that it blends so well, and has such rich, deep colour. I spend many hours subtly blending the colours to create abstract pebbles, I then have a final burst of playful energy dripping pure white paint around some of the pebbles to suggest highlights of shallow water.
