Peninsula Study is inspired by the coastal landscapes of the Victorian peninsula. In her current series of abstract landscapes, Charlotte interprets forms from nature (rainbow arcs, rock formations, seaside horizons, rising tides etc) in a hard-edged style and explores layering and juxtaposing vivid colour, experimenting with ideas of transparency and solidity to evoke a sense of joy, light and equilibrium.

Peninsula Study is hand-signed on the front and back and is ready to hang with wire attached. Please note, this painting is UNFRAMED – careful attention has been paid to the sides of the canvas (see picture in gallery images) so it doesn’t require framing but for an extra special finish, Charlotte recommends professional framing in a natural timber floating frame (such as the examples in the gallery images) and can be arranged by Art Lovers Australia by selecting the framing option.
