Perilous Shore – I love the idea of an angry foaming sea in the midst of a storm. The power of waves crashing into rocks at the shore is awe-inspiring, and for a Sydney-sider such as me, something I tend to see more often than not. There’s a culmination of factors that draw me, including the loss of colour saturation as the day gets darker, and the movement of the sea and sky while the rocks stand immovable…I’ll never get tired of painting these scenes.

This painting would look amazing in a white frame with wide white matting. I hope you like it as much as I do.
