Philly in the Flowers by Rebecca Warr

This artwork is a portrait of my gorgeous bird Philly. She is a Black Capped Conure and is hand reared. In this portrait, my aim was to represent her curious and bold personality. I believe this has been achieved through her pose and expression. I have chosen a slightly abstract approach with a stencilled background consistent with my distinctive style. I refer to Philly as my little partner in crime. She loves sitting on my head while I paint and snuggling under my jumper for cuddles.
