Pilbara Dust Storm by Rosemary Legat – Acrylic paint and charcoal on 300gsm mixed media paper.

This atmospheric landscape was create intuitively with a limited colour palette, limiting my different brush strokes and lots of blending.

A little back charcoal and a few paint dribbles were added for texture, definition and interest.  All enticing the eye and mind…..whisking the viewer away to a dusty outback scene.

This creation has a very organic look and feel therefore I decided not trim any of the paintings edges which allows the art buyer the option of having the edges covered, or left exposed, during their chosen framing process.

Pilbara Dust Storm requires framing to hang therefore my artwork gallery includes examples of how she could look framed and hung.

Please check artwork dimensions as in situ photos are for display purposes only and may not be to scale.
