Pink and Red II by Ellen McKenna – Pink and Red II is a joyous celebration of Pink and Red! I enjoy working with monochromatic colour schemes and I often start with a base colour (red in this painting) and then tint it with white or shade it with black to produce a range of colours. I’ve found that works really well and in terms of colour the final piece always looks like it is cohesive because all the colours are related to the base, starting colour.

Pink and Red II is an original artwork created with Acrylic Paint on Canvas, which is stretched over an internal wood frame. This artwork also comes with an external frame made with Tasmanian Oak. It has been finished with a satin varnish with UV Protection and it is ready to be hung. Art work will also be signed on the back with Ellen McKenna.
