Pink Clouds by Sam Askin

I love the freedom that comes with painting skyscapes, and particularly clouds. As an artist, you can work with almost any colour palette you like when painting clouds, use limited shades of your main cloud colours, and can let your inspiration and imagination run free when creating structure, shadows and shapes. I have had a “pull” to create pink clouds in a mini artwork for a while, so let my inspiration run with this one. I love the contrast between the clouds and the ultramarine blue sky, the clouds’ fluffiness, and that sense of daydreaming this artwork brings. Perfect for any bedroom, office, or space where you want your mind to be able to escape to the clouds for a few minutes each day to clear you head!
