Pippi Beach Looking South by Anne Strambi

Pippi Beach is a beautiful beach at Yamba and is perfect for long walks beside the ocean. It has been the subject of many of my paintings, but with this one, I wanted to try a more abstract and loose approach to painting a seascape. There are some areas of detail and some that are quite rough. There are bright reflections in the wet sand and lots of curling waves. In the distance are two small figures on the rocks. I have recently made a few changes to this artwork, including adding a few seagulls for extra interest.
