While I was educating myself on the Noongar seasons, I was inspired to paint my girls  she is BUNURU-FEB-MAR.

White flowers are scattered throughout, from the gum trees and the Zamia cones. Orange is representative colour and the white of the ocean. Seafood was the primary source of food as the population moved toward the sea for the cool and the food. This is the season of Adolescence.

My contemporary version

Pisces is the latin word for fish, our girl Pisces loves to be surrounded by white flowers from the gum trees and the Zamia cones that inhabit her world. Her world is encapsulated in a fish bowl, seafood her companions and food source
