A thin sheet of water on the normally dry salt of Lake Lefroy in Western Australia mirrors the sky’s colours. Suffering from a sunburnt retina I temporarily lost the ability to open my eyes without squinting. Taking away my ability to see clearly I listened and felt for inspiration. All I could hear was my own heartbeat and all I could feel was the cool evening air of this arid landscape.
