This acrylic based artwork is a collection of purple and yellow flowers with some handmade flowers made of organza with glass beads at the centre which give it a 3D effect. I had created this artwork for an exhibition in which participants were sent a handful of buttons which they had to use as inspiration for the artwork. I was sent an assortment of purple buttons and I chose to include one of the buttons in my artwork and you can see it in the biggest flower circled by glass beads. I stitched the petals and beads together as flowers before sewing them on to the finished and varnished painting.

The sides of the canvas have been painted so it can be hung unframed or if you prefer you can frame it according to your choice after purchase. This original acrylic/mixed media painting is sealed with a low gloss varnish and is ready to hang.
