My husband an I had arranged a weekend holiday at a beach house on the Sunshine Coast. And then the rain came. We were unable to go out or go home. Surrounding areas began to flood, and of course, we were very worried about our own home which had been flooded before in Mudgeeraba as the storm headed south and flooding many regions before it decimated Northern NSW. Given we had a view over the ocean, I decided to quickly paint what we were witnessing. So I guess this is Plein air, but from indoors!
