“Rainy Night Grevillea – No 1” by PLAYlogo. Photographed in high resolution using the renowned Sony FE 90mm Macro G OSS prime lens on a rainy night just perfect for Grevillea photos. The artist explains:

‘This Grevillea grows outside my home. For this shot I waited some weeks for a cooler period (so the leaves and flowers aren’t burnt) and for some light night rain, because I know that’s when they like to open up. The rain droplets shown are completely natural.’

The photo employs carefully chosen depth of field to lend the photo a 3D look. The foreground Grevillea and water droplets are in super sharp focus, so this photo prints well at larger sizes. This image also has some soft digital vignetting to set off the Grevillea in the foreground.

This photo is only offered in ready-to-hang Acrylic Float Frame mounted format (not as unmounted photo prints). The compact, super long-lasting, modern Acrylic Float Frame mounting – with the print sealed behind quality 3mm acrylic and with no frame border – is perfect for showing off the bright colours.
