Red Rock by David Clare – I have a background in graphic design, so this series of paintings is created by using filters, then manipulating the colours and shapes, and then painting that image. I let my hands-on painting creativity have the final say so the end result is a combination of both of my interests. This particular painting has ended up as an abstract landscape scene, with green hills and sunlight bouncing off a large red rock.
