Modern Abstract Painting Colourful  –  Reengage II is a Contemporary happy painting By Modern Artist Sarah Jane bursting with energy. A symbol of peoples excitement as lockdown restrictions ease in the era of Corona Virus

Drawing from the excitable energy and colour scheme of one of our previous artworks, “Like A Kid In A Candy Shop”, we have created a new series Reengage.

This new series is a deliberate creation based on the announcement of easing of lockdown restrictions.  With this annoucement comes a flood of excitement both from individuals and businesses as we all take small steps in reengaging in life as we once knew it. With restaurants bars and entertainment venues open again, the energy is bursting as people flock to freedom.

Continuing on with the series, we introduce Reengage II. We have used our ususal modern abstract format with an array of colour from the spectrum.  Inks have been used where bright energy is required ,in the form of yellow pink and orange. Layering over the inks is softer acrylic paints with the cooler tones of green blue and grey. White has finished the painting, covering in long strokes over the painted areas in a random manner to soften the painting and slow the excitement of the pops of brighter colours. Again, a deliberate act as we too need to slow our excitment and not get carried away as we still have a long road ahead.

Painted as a pair with Reengage I, the two together compliment one another beautifully, yet have enough difference to be placed side by side. The perfect addition to any modern home.
