A lovers’ tryst, a planned meeting with a friend, a long-awaited catch-up, and other descriptions of similar meanings.
This is a painting of my beloved white iceberg roses. The photo was taken last summer when the bush was laden with these beautiful blooms. It looks to me like they are having a chat in my garden, hence the name and yes, I do have a bit of a fanciful imagination! I love their fresh whiteness, their simplicity and the lovely form of their curving petals which are a joy to paint.
The background is black and I have carried the painting of the petals around the side edges of the canvas.
This painting is unframed however framing is available on request at additional cost, message me for quote.
