Reverence has the definition of “honour and respect felt or shown towards someone or something”. I hold great reverence for the coast. If ever there was a force of nature to be revered it is this…the vast oceans, mighty tides, abundant crashing waves, endless sands and of course, the dramatic cloudscapes that roll in at the end of each day, sometimes light and colourful, or like this, moody and dark as a coastal shower threatens over headlands.

I am in awe that this powerful coastline persists day after day, week after week, year after year. It never tires. Never gives up. It is ever changing yet still the same. It is constant, and therefore brings me constant assurance…something to always look forward to…to hope in.

This moody seascape is painted with palette knives on artist quality stretched cotton canvas, is satin varnished and comes with a COA. It has painted white sides if purchased unframed, or I can add an oak frame option for an additional $330. Get in touch.
